TARG are participating in the Galtee Walking Festival hosted by the Glen of Aherlow Fáilte Society over the weekend of March 31st – 2nd April.

We plan to provide voice communinications for all walks, and also hope to experiment with the usefulness of the Amateur Packet Reporting System (APRS) in this type of event.

Tipperary Amateur Radio Group will be participating in the Glen of Aherlow Walking festival on Saturday and Sunday the first and second of April 2006. It is hoped that both APRS and Voice will be used over the weekend to monitor the progress of the walks.
